About Cross Haven

Cross Haven offers quality service and value for money. Ideal for couples, Stena and P&O ferry passengers and visitors to Ireland.

Cross Haven Guest House is a family run bed and breakfast accommodation conveniently located close to Stranraer town centre and local ferry services from Cairnryan to Ireland.

We acquired our beautiful accommodation in 2004 when it was lovingly restored and renovated as a four bedroomed guest house. Prior to that time it had been a convent owned by the Catholic church. It was built as a gift to the church in 1898 and occupied by the Sisters of St Joseph of Cluny. Cross Haven retains many of the original and unusual features along with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. There is also a large garden for guest use.

Being situated directly opposite the Ryan Leisure Centre we are popular with guests wishing to take advantage of the many facilities provided there and we are a convenient place to stay for events at the theatre, either as a spectator or performer.

Prices start from £27.50 per person (Based on 2 people sharing)

We have one single and two double en-suite rooms on the first floor and a twin en-suite on the ground floor, which is easily accessed and may be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.  All rooms are centrally heated and equipped with hairdryer, courtesy tray and colour television with dvd player.
